Duke Engineering Announces a 12-Month Master of Engineering in Financial Technology
Duke's Master of Engineering in FinTech now offers a 12-month program for professionals with work experience, starting in Summer 2024. Applications open this fall.
The Master of Engineering in FinTech at the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering has grown substantially since its introduction five years ago, with an incoming class of over 100 set to arrive in the Fall of 2024. With this growth has come a demand for an accelerated version of the program that would allow more individuals with work experience to advance their careers with this highly customizable degree. We are thrilled to announce a 12-month full-time program that will mirror the traditional 3 semester schedule but allow students with at least 2 years of work experience to start in the first summer session and graduate the following May.
This new 12-month program will allow students access to the same professors and electives that have come to define the program as one of the global leaders in engineering FinTech programs.
“The interest in a 12-month program has been overwhelming, and as a program that strives to stay dynamic, we are responding,” said Dr. Jimmie Lenz, Executive Director of the M.Eng. in FinTech. “This new offering is designed especially for individuals with work experience, which enriches the overall program and helps build a lifelong network of individuals interested in cutting edge technologies.”
Applications will open in the fall of 2024. For the latest information, join the Duke FinTech mailing list and visit our website.
