Bio
Steve Baumberger is a seasoned business operations executive with over 35 years of experience in revenue cycle management, management consulting, and business transformation.
Most recently, Steve served as Senior Vice President of Customer Management at R1 RCM, where he led operational service delivery for a $5B Net Patient Revenue portfolio. Prior to this, Steve held multiple leadership roles at R1 RCM, including Senior Vice President Customer Onboarding and Integration and Vice President of Transformation.
Before R1, Steve spent over 20 years at Accenture, rising to Partner and leading supply chain and business transformation projects for Fortune 100 retail and consumer goods clients.
Steve graduated from Duke University in 1989 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He currently serves on Duke’s Master of Engineering Management IAB (Industry Advisory Board) and was a founding member of the IAB.
