Bio
Marty is the Senior Vice President of Energy & Digital Solutions at AlphaStruxure, a leading Energy as a Service provider of zero-CapEx on-site power generation systems. He leads the solution architect, technical portfolio, and IT/OT (information and operations technology) team. He coordinates the scope of internal and customer technical project solutions and digital offerings, and is responsible for the digital strategy, logistics design, including software, hardware, control platforms, AI, and cyber operations.
Marty has over 25 years of experience primarily within energy businesses, with a strong focus on data center infrastructure. He has led power delivery and optimization efforts—from grid to chip—for more than 20 data centers globally, integrating advanced energy and digital solutions to meet high-performance and reliability standards.
Before joining AlphaStruxure, Marty worked at ABB Electrification as a Solution Architectures and Product Management Global VP, where he drove development and delivery of innovative and holistic electrification solutions instead of individual product purchases. Marty also worked at General Electric Industrial Solutions, where he managed portfolio launches from core design through deployment and sales, covering a broad spectrum of clients and industries from rapid transit electric vehicles to data centers to utilities and renewables.
Marty holds 10 patents in electrical engineering applications covering $1 billion in revenue. He holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management (MEMP) from Duke and a BSME from North Carolina State University. He is also a member of the Duke University Industrial Board of Advisors and Venture Mentor for several entrepreneurial development groups.
