Bio

JordaJordan has been in the medical device industry for nearly 20 years, working for companies of various sizes and in multiple functions. After studying biomedical engineering at Tulane University in the United States and MEM at Duke, he started his career in product development engineering with Orthovita, a mid-size company specializing in biomaterials.

While making a move back home in South Florida, Jordan spent a couple years in manufacturing engineering at Biomet 3i, focused on supporting the patient specific product area that worked with custom cases and robotic production. Extending that interest in robotics, he moved to Stryker’s robotics and technology division, where he’s been for over 10 years. Initially as an engineer and then as a project manager, Jordan now focuses on managing project management and PMO processes.

Early in his career, Jordan realized that there simply aren’t enough people interested in ensuring the business is doing business in the best and most efficient way possible. Through this “niche,” he’s been able to create new roles for himself that allow him to find inefficiencies in business process and optimize them to deliver improved results.
