Dr. Manfred Boudreaux-Dehmer, NATO’s first CIO and a 2014 Duke Fuqua School of Business Alumnus, has volunteered to be part of the Executive Faculty for the Duke Cybersecurity Executive Programs. He will also serve on the Duke Cybersecurity Master of Engineering Industry Advisory Board.

The Duke Cybersecurity Executive Programs is a joint initiative of the Duke Pratt School of Engineering and the Sanford School of Public Policy. Its goal is to address the knowledge gap in the cybersecurity workforce by providing high-impact, accelerated, and cutting-edge training for busy executives, managers, governmental officials, and professionals who need to gain immediate expertise in cybersecurity concepts, strategies, and best practices.

In May 2025, NATO’s CIO will instruct executives worldwide on how resilient organizations can prepare for breach events. Applications for the Duke Cybersecurity Executive Certificates are open until April 30. Leaders can apply at this link.

Dr. Boudreaux-Dehmer visited the Duke Campus in October 2024 to deliver keynotes at the 2024 Duke Annual Cybersecurity Conference “In the Age of AI”.  During that visit, we asked NATO’s CIO to sit with us for an extensive conversation about his career journey. The article has been published on the Duke Pratt School of Engineering, Duke Fuqua School of Business, and Duke Today websites.
