Dr. Pramod Singh Joins Duke AI Master of Engineering Faculty

Duke University’s AI Master of Engineering program is thrilled to announce that Dr. Pramod Singh has joined the program’s faculty team as a full-time Executive in Residence.  Dr. Singh has an extensive background in analytics and AI leadership spanning across academia and industry, and will bring a wealth of practical experience to the program in the application of AI/ML to solve difficult real-world problems.

Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Singh spent over 25 years in industry leading analytics teams, most recently as the Chief Analytics Officer at Envestnet | Yodlee, a global financial technology company.  He held prior roles leading analytics teams at Hewlett Packard and Wal-Mart.  Dr. Singh also serves as the co-founder of Duke spin-out Inquisite AI, where he leads the company’s data and analytics efforts.  

Dr. Singh’s impressive academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Jammu and PhD in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas.  At Duke, Dr. Singh will lead the AI Master of Engineering’s Industry Practicum Program, which pairs teams of students with partner companies to complete a real-world, hands-on AI/ML project during their studies.  Dr. Singh will also lead the development of new elective course offerings for both AI Master of Engineering and Master of Engineering Management students in Analytics Product Management and Alternative Data.
