Industry-Aligned Tracks

Students have the choice to optionally pursue an industry-aligned Track through their choice of elective courses and capstone project. To complete a track, students must take at least three (3) courses from the list of approved courses for the track. Students who prefer to design their own pathway may instead take other approved courses for their technical electives and systems engineering electives.

Space Systems

The Space Systems track prepares engineers to design and develop complex, multidisciplinary space systems for operation in challenging orbital and deep-space environments. Students develop expertise in mission design, orbital mechanics, spacecraft subsystems, and the systems engineering practices needed to manage large-scale space systems development projects from concept through operation.

Cyber Systems

The Cyber Systems track prepares engineers to design, analyze, and secure complex software and networked systems, from embedded devices to large-scale enterprise and operational technology environments. Students develop expertise in system architecture, cybersecurity, AI/ML and the systems engineering practices needed to build resilient, trustworthy systems across their entire lifecycle.
