Rice University Profiles Validity – A Company Founded by FinTech Graduates

Validity allows alumni and former students to access their academic credentials instantly and at no cost to the student. Founded by FinTech graduates Mike Cutro and Xinchen (Mike) Liu, university registrar offices can sign cryptographically to authenticate academic credentials. These proofs are then stored on the Ethereum blockchain, allowing stakeholders to directly verify information from the University. Validity is currently used by Duke University, Rice University, and Campbell University.
