Duke inaugurates first-ever Industrial Security for Leaders Certificate
The increasing use of and dependence on Operational Technology (OT) requires that leaders understand the risk associated with this technology and how to mitigate regulatory and operational risk to their organizations. To meet this critical need, Duke University Pratt School of Engineering and Duke Sanford School of Public Policy partnered together to launch the first ever Industrial Security for Leaders certificate.
Learners will be introduced to Operational Technology, threats and vulnerabilities that may facilitate malicious targeting of industrial systems. Leaders will gain an understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards and of regulatory requirements that can be implemented to protect this critical technology. On completion of the certificate program, leaders will have a firm grasp on threats, risks, mitigation and governance and oversight of OT.
Course Overview
The Industrial Security Certificate program consists of three key modules*: Foundations, Policy and Regulation, and Security Management. After completing this comprehensive two-day program, participants will take an exam covering the material presented. Successful completion will earn them the Duke Industrial Security for Leaders certificate.
